New 2009 A4 Owner
Hey fellow Audi owners -
My name is Mike from the Okanagan BC.
I just purchased my first (new-to-me) '09 Audi A4 2.0T. She's not without a few 'ghosts' which have shown up in the past month of owning her, so I'm dealing with the thrill of German engineering (came from an '09 Tacoma) contrasted by my wife's "I told you so!" comments - part of the reason I'm here is to self-diagnose and fix what I can.
The Tacoma was great and far more utilitarian but I was ready for a swap and something that would fit the family and still have a 'cool' factor. All in all, I love the car - the burning issues are oil consumption (pun intended) and a few ghosts in the machine... one of which I'll make a post about.
Looking forward to getting to know you guys and receiving / offering support.
Best-
Mike

Re: New 2009 A4 Owner
Hi Mike
Welcome to the forum. As much as this is a decent site for Audi owners, if you're looking for help I suggest you visit audizine.com. It has a very large community with plenty of Audi owners of various MY's.
From what I've read on AZ, people are more than willing to help others with everything from diagnostics to mods.

Thanks for your note - I signed up over there yesterday and actually found a walk-thru w/ pics on how to change the module.
Cheers!

Great to hear!
Good Luck. Hope you can get your A4 going like new again.
There's nothing wrong with a Tacoma but Audi is so different compared to Toyota, and hopefully you and wife will get to enjoy the German approach to cars. Have a great Canada Day long weekend!
