Longtime TDI Owner / First time Audi Owner
Hi All, Great to see an active forum!
I'm a longtime VW owner and enjoy the TDI forums. I just bought my first Audi. 2007 A4 Quattro 2.0T FSI sportline convertible. I'm in Cloverdale
Switching from an 03 Golf TDI I bought new in 2003 and had for 375K totally reliable kms. I'll be searching out info on how best to maintain and upgrade. Especially in relation to carbon buildup minimization and planning to stud the mechanical fuel pump to make it easier to replace the cam follower (thinking I'll do it with fuel filter changes). Then look at reasonable upgrades, stereo to Bluetooth and whatever else makes sense. Also want to look into catch cans and pros / cons.
Looking forward to getting into it and getting to know people into the Audi side of things.
previous vw's: golf tdi, golf vr6, cabriolet x2, 84 gti (why did I sell it? whyyyyyyyyy?)
Cheers,
Marc
