I'll buy a christmas present for the first reputable poster to advise me yay, or nay. And I'll become an active member of this site!

I would suggest starting with www.RIV.ca they have all the info on there. Yes the car is Admissible into Canada. Also next time I would suggest to name the thread appropriately as "Help ASAP" is a very general and broad question. There is a wealth of info on here and the experiences of importing a vehicle, start by using the search button. Welcome to the forum and GL with the purchase.

the car i was going to buy was on ebay. it was a nice white one with 100 k.

the dealer selling it had a spoof bidder with a bid in almost at the buy it now price (i went $1k under the 19,975 buy-it-now and the spoof bid was higher than that so i didnt buy it). The spoof put in about a dozen bids on cars from that seller (and only one bid).

I sent him a message asking if he's going to let it go(it didnt meet reserve even) He'll prolly get back to me with some line about the buyer being a deadbeat. I'll act like I'll still take it for the 18,750 but then i'm going to start talking about the spoofness and tell him i'm only paying 17

If it doesnt work out, thanks anyways! Ha. Maybe i'll be back one day
