A brand new 'Tourist Trophy Limited' owner
Hello out there...
This is my first introduction to any forum and I did manage to get all the way through the letter to new owners, so I will be very respectful of everyone's time.
I'm not sure how to import the photos from the eBay Motors site (where I just today purchased the TT) but anyone interested in seeing it can find it on-line.
It is one of the 99 Roadsters built in 2006 and is currently in Mesa, Arizona awaiting pick-up.
If you have a few minutes, you can see the car on the Sullivan Motor Company site. I believe the auction appears to still be active, but it is in fact, ending early.
I am pretty excited and if all goes well, it will be delivered on Memorial Day, which also happens to fall on my Dad's 81st birthday. He will be there for the arrival and the maiden 'test drive.'
Interestingly, I have never driven a TT Roadster; have never seen one up close. In fact, I have rarely been this impulsive over such a large purchase, but it all just fell into place and somehow feels 'right'
I hope it turns out to be everything I think it is and I will certainly be checking back with the Audi forum from time to time...
My best to all of you. Have a safe and memorable Memorial Day weekend
(I think I will) and stay well...
Best regards,
Jim Gray
