Bike Rack Suggestions
Hello Team Audi!
I'm hoping to find some suggestions. I bought a 2014 Audi A5 S-line this winter and now that spring is here I'd like to mount a bike rack so I can go riding! I'm petite and cannot lift a bike or reach the top of my car for a roof mount rack (Is one even available for an A5?) so I'm looking for something sturdy mounted on the rear for which there is no chance of my beautiful new car getting scratched (it has happened to my cars in the past). Any suggestions? Any recommendations for brands of bike racks?
Thanks in advance,
Dove. ...new to the team GO TEAM AUDI!

Re: Bike Rack Suggestions
The best way to carry a bike is to get a hitch mounted carrier. This is the most expensive way to go BUT...it is cheaper than scratching or denting your new car. You will need to get a hitch installed if your car doesn't have one. I strongly recommend Thule (T2 is the model to get) carriers as they are the easiest to use and the quality is very good. If you are looking at other brands try to get one that holds the bike via its wheels (T2) as the traditional type (trunk mounted) can also damage your bike.
