2011 S4 2 weeks away
So I purchased an S4 last week and expected to wait a few months for it to come in. Got a message from the dealer today saying they found an exact match at another dealer in the Audi network. 2011 S4 Premium with 6MT. Navi, B&O and Sport Diff. Black on black. Can't wait now, actually can't sleep.
Currently own an '03 G35 sedan, which I have really enjoyed. Test drove the BMW 335i Xdrive, and M-B C350 4matic but neither had enough to offer to persuade me to change my mind from the S4. Just joined the forum tonight and thought I would drop a line and tell my short story.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of a truly amazing car. We have the exact car as a member of our Golden Horseshoe Club. When you get it post up some pics and consider joining up with some enthusiasts to keep up on ideas and improvements that can be made.

Thanks man. I haven't seen many B8 S4 around although I'm sure once I have one I will start to notice more. Just told the dealer to go ahead with tints and he is also going to do 3M on the hood. I noticed on the bill of sale he also decreased the agreed MSRP by additional $700-ish but then added Audi Care for $750. I thought that was a pretty outstanding gesture as we hadn't discussed Audi Care yet and I was about to inquire.
Anyone know what kind of discount off MSRP is normal on S4's?

Brilliant Black. I saw the 3M on a M-B and also a tiguan and it is barely noticeable. Just want to protect my baby from some of the small stuff flying around on 401. Anyone used it before? would you again? It is only $375.
btw...mikeh I read the thread you mentioned and got scared by one of the replies saying watch for dealer repaired new vehicle since they don'y have to report accident on new car that hasn't be registered yet. I am sure mine will be fine. I will expand on my price in the other thread.

For the next few months you will be taking the long way to work and back home, and waking up at 3am to look out front and say to yourself "yup its still there .... I really am not dreaming" !!
