It looks good Jean Claude

So I have the atomatic headlight option but if you want your LEDs on you have to turn the switch on correct?

Not exactly: The led strip is connected in the marker bulb socket.
In Auto mode, whenever it is dark and the headlights turn on, the LED strip will also turn on.
If you want them on during the day, then you have to turn the switch to the marker lamp position (I beleive this is how you call the lights all around the car. It is call feu de position in French) or all the way right to the headlamp position.

If you want to turn on your new LED strip when you turn on your car as a DRL, you can try to put the LED strip directly on a fuse tap (+/-15$ at Canadian tire).

I've did this on my Kia Koup. I put the fuse tap on the headlight fuse. Also, I remove the DRL fuse in my Kia, I cannot do it in programmation like Audi can. So as soon as I start the car, the LED strip turn on and no other lights is on. When the days come dark, the "auto" light come on

Now, I have to take time to try it on the TT.

The picture is shown with the fog turned off, cause the LED are place directly beside them.

This is the fuse box inside the car.

I am wondering if I can buy the newer ones and not have installation issues.
Will it work? Are the part numbers interchangeable?
Remember there are no permanent changes or modifications in this process. If you don't like the results everything can be stripped out and put back to original without any hassle.
