3.2 TT exhaust please help
Hello Everyone,
im looking for some general information in regards to exhaust systems for TTs. I got 2008 quattro TT 3.2 manual transmission, I’ve driven the car for few years now and am loving it. But I really wanna hear that slight deeper roar with windows rolled down . Anyways, what systems would you recommend? Millteck? MangaFlow? Do you need to do stage 1 ECU chipping in order to install them? How are they attached ? cutting off stock and soldering new ones on? Slipping the new ones and using bands to keep them in place(like a slip on)? Are there any issues passing emission tests once you got it on? Any error codes popping up? And how much would it cost to install them from a tunning shop like Pfaff? Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Ivan

Hey Ivan
I have the same car as yourself. I would honestly suggest the Milltek exhaust it sounds great and fit perfectly. I will be ordering mine in the next month. They are a direct bolt on all you have to do is disconnect the bolts right at the Cat and you will end up using all the existing hardware to connect the exhaust back on the car. It is fairly easy to do.
As for pfaff doing the work it will end up costing around 500 just to get the exhaust put on. there pricing is no better then ordering it direct from Milltek.
I guess you are in the Vaughan/Woodbridge area?
Good luck
