2012 Audi TT RS brakes

Re: 2012 Audi TT RS brakes
I had the same issue with my S4. Swapped my pads with 100% ceramics. Not only did the squeaking go away 100% but no more brake dust. Costs about 160 bucks for ceramic pads. Do it and save all the head aches.

Re: 2012 Audi TT RS brakes
I bought Hawks, via Amazon shipped to my door $160.00. Better stopping power and quality than stock. Installed it myself. Brake pads are not under warranty (considered wear and tear) so you're not going to impact warranty.

Re: 2012 Audi TT RS brakes
A quick question to the Canadian TT RS owner - did Audi Canada or your dealership fix the noise issue just like Audi America or Audi UK?
I called my dealership this morning, and the SA is going to contact Audi Canada for recommendation. The noise is really bad again.
Thanks

Re: 2012 Audi TT RS brakes
Update: The upgrade involves changing the front rotors, pads, calipers...everything. No word on the pad material yet and the car will be having a sleepover at the dealer as they send the kit in for the morning. Parts alone $2500, yikes.
