Default 2009 TTS phonebook

Excited to find this forum !

I just picked up a 2009 Ibis White TTS, 19" rims and enhanced leather package and LOVE IT !

So glad I made the transition to Audi from BMW all these years...I felt that BMW were beginning to compromise the materials and build quality of their interiors !

I have a problem though regards the transfer of my phonebook to the Audi bluetooth system....I dont have the navigation package so no extra menu options to change settings etc....just message to "INSERT PHONE" which means to pair and then the phonebook appears in the information display between tach and speedometer and then I can dial by manually selecting a choice....HOWEVER the phonebook itself does not transfer into the car memory if you understand what I mean....I have a blackberry storm which supports OBEX ( Object Push Profile ) and on the Audi compatibility website the phone is listed as fully compatible with the same OS version yet I have tried everything - switch on phone/car in different order, delete pairing and then repair and yet still when I ask for system to "PLAY PHONEBOOK" I get the message " the phonebook is empty" !!

I read somewhere about being able to reset the system in a navigation equipped version but what other settings are there to successfully pair a blackberry to the Audi bluetooth?

I know from other forums that many people have issues with pairing and transferring phonebooks to Audi ( one thing I never had an issue with BMW ), but thought to try the forums and see if someone with a TT, TTS could help?

Thanks guys and looking forward to sharing and learning from this forum

Adsam: This won't help except to let you know that it should work. Delores and I picked up our 08 just outside of Denver and before we knew what we were doing the Blackberry phone list was in the car's memory. Kinda scarey actually. I guess a call to your dealer will solve the issue. If your dealer in TO can't help, the dealer in Barrie is just over the top service wise.
Cheers

Thanks for that positive note:...Im just wondering what settings you had it under and how long you gave it to transfer the contacts so that I may try the exact same procedure?
