Good luck sorting out the issue. I saw that car on cars.com and would have bought it if you hadn't (recognized the wheels and dealership) ...

Sorry Buddy I didn't know you wanted it.

I got a good deal on it, but the dealer service was absolutly terrible. I really recommend to stay away from Audi Henderson. All of the sales reps are stupid and useless. Nothing except trouble and no respect for customers.

I got the wheels checked today with another Volco guy and he was not sure if he could find a 19" off the market with good tires for it. He was suggesting that I should keep the rims and change the tires. But he was recommending 245/35/20 to fix the rubbing.

Interesting that the bolts on the wheets are 17mm but the standard rench on the car is 19mm and the Audi Henderson didn't give me the adapter either. The bolts where too long that I couldn't find a wheel lock for them. It seems this is really a custom designed wheel.

I'm still not sure what to do with them.

Sorry to hear Henderson sucked and no problem. I'm awaiting delivery of a white 2010 TTS with 19's (a few weeks away). Perhaps a wheel swap is in order ?

The Vividracing site suggests the wheel fits with a 255/30 tire - can't seem to track down the offset. Best to contact Stasis to get the full details ... I would bet the rubbing is on the outside not inside so a narrower tire will likely be the fix (not spacers).

BTW, any idea of the tint details on your car ?

Nice...Other than the rubbing problem, the car is great. I love it. The ONLY problem is you don't realize how fast you're going and I'm afraid I'll get a lot of tickets

Regarding the tint, I had to remove the tint from the driver and passenger window (not the rear window) to get Canadian Tire approval. It costed me about 80CAD. I think it looks better without the tinted windows, because the interior is nice.

I'll call StaSIS to find out...

The RS4 also did a good job making "100 feeling like 50". The good thing about driving a Miata (until the TTS arrives) is 50 feels more like 100 ...

Glad you're enjoying - be careful especially with a speedo in miles !
