Rose-joint replacement?

Rose-joint replacement?
I have a 2000 TT Quattro. I recently broke a rear control arm due to a seized rose joint. So I have taken the opportunity to install a set of adjustable arms both on the top and bottom. Anyways the arms are on and the broken endlink is replaced. I bought a set of 4 new Gummiluger (rubber bearings) the replacment part for the factory rose joint. I was wondering if anyone had insight into a easy way to install these. I have a c-press for ball joints, but there is no way to get it in there. I found a page on a UK TT forum where buddy made a tool like the included pic. But I was wondering if anyone is making these things and selling them? If not I guess I'll hit up Fastnal and the local plumbing store.

36 views and no comments? Does no one do work on their own cars. I was looking at Mitchel on Demand today and according to the documents provided to them by Audi the official tool looks very similar to this. I have two pieces of pipe that will work. I'm going to pickup a piece of threaded rod and some flange nuts from Fastnal next week. I'll keep you guys posted.

I noticed that, seems everyone is a lurker here. I have a quattro myself but have only just got it. I think I need control arms also, did you do much research on this? Where did you get them, what's a good deal?
I think mine are the wrong length, wearing out rear tires on the inside.
