Paint-job quality is mostly in the prep-work - the calipers you see that look like **** were painted with insufficient prep-work, or even no prep. in many cases.

Media blast them with whatever media is recommended (I think glass bead would be good for calipers - the media is large enough that it won't get into the pistons), then degrease them properly, then paint with a high-temp. paint (probably best to use one specifically formulated for brake calipers). If you want them to look as good as possible, get them powder-coated as opposed to painted; although, I'm sure it will cost you a $$$ to do this.

If you want to take the easy route, clean them with brake cleaner, then isopropyl, then follow the directions on whatever caliper paint that you buy.

I bought them used - for a ridiculously-low price They do fit under the OEM 17" six-spoke wheels.

I'm not sure where you can buy my specific kit, but RPI does have one (I'm not sure if they're the Forged Superlite calipers) that is a reasonable price (as far as BBK's go): RPI Equipped! - Canada Store

You're probably going to have a tough time beating the price of RPI kit, seeing as they're in Canada and it includes the hardware, lines, and fluid. You could always buy the bracket in the link below, and try to piece together your own calipers and rotors: Caliper Mounting Kits w/Bracket-DPR 99-03 VW/Audi- Jetta/Golf/TT

Some Wilwood calipers are pretty lightweight, and thus have some flex to them; ie. more suited to racing than road use. I only have a couple of hundred km on this kit, but so far it's great for the Street; I can report back on how they are on the track after I get a couple of events in.

I have to say that I find BBK's entirely over-used - meaning that the majority of people who buy them have no need for them. Tires are nearly always the limiting factor in traction; and, if you've got good pads and a proper bleed with good fluid, it usually takes 8+ 100km/hr to 20km/hr stops to induce face. If one doesn't already have them, I recommend high-end Summer tires, good fluid (ATE Super Blue, Motul RBF600, etc.), and top-notch pads.
