Default Ideas for Rims and DV

Hey folks,

I'm looking to buy some new rims for my car at the end of March. I'm moving from Ottawa back to Vancouver.

I want to get a set of 19s but there are so many choices. I've narrowed it down to a couple that I like.

Axis Penta
TSW Snetterton
Hartmann RS6 reps

I'm open to ideas as there are probably lots of rims I haven't looked at yet.

My other question is regarding the diverter valve. Anyone have a preference between the forge or the baileys?

Here's a pic of my car, it's got the votex kit on it (except lower back bumper).

Nice car! Almost bought a blue one when I got my '03. Couldn't find the right one tho. It'll look sick with the RS6 reps! They definitely get my vote.

Personally I ran the APR R1 DV. It's a diaphragm based DV so it's maintenance free and set up the same as the OEM DV, but for much higher performance. You will definitely hear more of the air flow with this DV than the OEM as well.

Thanks Regina_TTS, that looks pretty sweet. Is that TT stock height in the pic?

Highly doubt it. Most stock height MkI's look like 4x4's to me. LOL. Once Jazz see's this post he will likely give you the same answer and post 5 pictures of his car.

That's because it's the same 5 pictures. Where is the poor guy to defend himself anyways? Maybe out trying to get some new pics.

Forgot about my old ride too. They say RS4's are done, but I still think they are a fabulous wheel! So far I have had them on three different Audi's and I think I might do them again with summer tires on the TT/S.

These are Hartmann RS4 reps. There's a couple more shots in the gallery too if you are interested: Regina_TTS's Images
