Yeah, I don't see how having the rear engaged while braking would really be a safety issue - I think that's just something people say without really thinking about it. Neverthless, I'd rather not overwork a diff that is known to break (as mine has once already!). As I said, to take advantage of the Orange, you have to be an experienced road courser and have a properly-sorted road car. I don't see why anyone would want to put an Orange on unless they already had monster brakes and R-compound tires.
