Re: coilovers
I was looking at Stasiss street sport suspension, I got a quote from Pfaff in Toronto. There install included front and rear HR sway bars. Total was around $3,000.00 plus tax. That includes an alignment. Total labour was 9 hours at $100.00 per hour.
I talked to my local mechanic for Audi/VW cars, his labour was 5 or 6 hours at $70.00 per hour for the above install. I haven't decided as yet as I have a love/hate relationship with this car. Yesterday while at the gym there were three TT's in the lot including mine. There was a sweet black TT that was obviously lowered. Hadn't seen that car before. I wanted to ask the guy what system he used for lowering, didn't see him leave. Anyway did you get a total on your labour? Should be 4 - 5 hours total since no sway bars. You should Pfaff a call as they have a great facility and specialize in this type of work.
