Golden Horseshoe Meet - Tues June 1st, 2010
Hello to all Southern Ontario Audi owners. Shine up your cars, and top off your tanks. Come and join us again at Hutches Restaurant on the beach in Hamilton June 1st, 2010 at 7:00 pm. (east parking lot)
The theme for this event is VAG COM night. I am encouraging all those who have a VAG COM to bring them along and help those that do not have one. For those who do not have one please make a list of mods you would like to do and if possible look up the codes for those mods. I am sure others here on the forum can assist in looking up the codes.
Again we can discuss future events such as track day, BBQ, etc. Also, those with Blackberries we have started up a BB Group to keep people informed of events and sharing of pics.
Hopefully it will be a nice day and I hope to have a great turnout.

I hope to make it this time. Great idea on the Vagcom, I wouldn't know where to start but maybe you guys could help with the codes for my 2010 S4 to activate the tps(tire pressure monitoring system) and to brighten the daylight running lights so they don't go out when the signal is on.

I forgot to mention we have started a blackberry group for the golden horseshoe. please leave a msg or pm for myself of Mikeh to have us add you. we can then chat at up at anytime as well share calendar events, pics, ect...

For those who are interested we are planning on attending a tuner night meet held every Sunday evening at Hutches on the Beach in Hamilton. There is quite an assortment of cars from mustangs, hondas, and VWs. Most evening there are somewhere from 40-50 cars. I have attended several of these as an observer and have noticed the odd Audi showing up. So some of us have decided to crash this tuner night with our cars and have a showing of Audi at the meet. We plan on meeting in the parking lot of Mapleview Mall in front of The Bay (on the Maple Ave. side) around 6 pm and then travel together to the event. Come and join us if you can. It would be awsome to have a whole row of Audis parked beside each other.

Well a few of us attending the Sunday evening Tuner night (if you want to call it that) at Hutches last night. It was great to see familiar faces and some new ones. Besides the usual Adrian showed up in his red B7 A4 with some very nice blacked out trim and wheels. A new member joined us last night with his nogaro blue B5 S4, very nice car!
Clay managed to drive a standard and run through the gears for the first time. I believe he is now hooked and quite possibly his next car will be standard.
As usual there were plenty of cars doing burnouts and driving a little crazy at times. The parking lot was packed with cars double parked. A very nice Lambo cruised in and gave us a little show by taking off down the road.
Keep in mind our regular meet scheduled for tomorrow evening at the same location (Hutches on the Beach) . Again our theme is VAG COM night so those with VAG COMs please bring them (you know who you are). Those without them please be prepared with the codes you want changed. We will have information on a track day as well as a cruise day to Niagara-on-the-lake for dinner or lunch.
We will also discuss changing our regular meet days from a weeknight to a weekend. The reason for the initial weeknight was to free up your weekend for other functions such as family, chores, travel etc. However we can discuss this and make a decision that best suits all.
Hope to have a good showing and interest in continuing our meets.

Van Wagner beach strip hutches... sorry about that i just heard from mikeh that a few of you are at the other one. i hope you get this as well are all dow here now! still be here for a while too!
