Re: Golden Horseshoe Audi Meet
We had 9 great looking cars show up last night which I think was great considering the cold weather (a few of us were in shorts). The evening started off when the pinacle of Audi, an R8 drove by. Too bad he didn't stop. The gathering brought people together from Grimsby, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville and parts of the GTA including Brampton. Thanks to those who came from Audizine. The cars ranged from 2 B5 S4 with one being a well preserved and outstanding Avant to other decked out Avants and Sedans. It was decided that we should continue to periodically meet and change locations to suit those from other areas. As indicated on a previous message the next meeting will take place somewhere in the Hamilton Grimsby area and we will go for a drive to take advantage of some of the windy scenic roads in the area. Also I will source out a track and plan for a track day. Also on the summer agenda will be a BBQ of some sort. Please feel free to add your suggestions as well. If all who attended last night and previous night could PM me with your e-mail address I will create an e-mail notification to all for any changes and events.
Thanks again to all who showed up.

Re: Golden Horseshoe Audi Meet
Well I was asked and I intend on delivering. Those who are interested in open lapping on a race track let me know. Toronto Motorsport Park (Cayuga) offers open lapping on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 till dusk. The cost (pre-registration) is $63 all in.
At the next meet we can discuss this and see the interest level.
Here are some details and if you want more just go to the Toronto Motorsport Park web site.
Lapping With Your Car
If you have not driven the track before, we strongly recommend that you register for instruction with your first lapping session. For more information on instruction options, please call 1-866-824-7223.
All participants must indicate their experience level on the registration form.
No refunds or exchanges will be given. If a session is cancelled due to weather, rain checks will be issued and will be valid only on the rescheduled date.
Limited space is available for each session. Pre-registrations will be given priority and drivers registering at the track on the day of the event will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
Racing Fuel
Toronto Motorsports Park offers onsite racing fuel at the Fuel Station located in the center of the Paddock. Track-proven racing fuels are designed to provide exceptional performance, quality and consistency. The fuel station will be open during regular drag strip hours.
General Rules
Safety should be your number one priority while on the track
Paddock speed limit is 15 km/hr. No exceptions.
All persons entering the track must sign a “Release of Liability” waiver.
