Re: Eurofest 2010
The Golden Horseshoe Audi Group is planning on leaving from Hutches on the Beach Sunday morning around the 9:00 am time. The cost to get in is $20 per person however if a group of us show up together there is a discount of $2 per person.
If you plan on showing your car add another $20 and I understand that they are planning on grouping all Audis together for this.
So if you are planning on attending even if you have never joined us please plan on meeting us at Hutches to take advantage of the discount. Besides you might just enjoy riding up with us together!!
If you need specific information please either PM me or call me at (905) 730-9642
Thanks

Re: Eurofest 2010
Well Eurofest has come and gone. Our Golden Horseshoe Audi Group (reduced turnout) met at Hutches and then drove up Centennial Rd where we met up with a couple of M3s and AMGs. The drive up to Cayuga was somewhat spirited at times (fun).
This was my first time at a drag strip and road course so other than seeing it on TV I really didn't know what to expect. The firs vehicle on the drag was a snowmobile driven by a small blonde woman. WHAM 8.4 sec doing something like 153 MPH. WOW I was blown away at the noise, sound and how close we were to the action.
Then as the day progressed several Mercs and Bimmers ran down the track. There were times when I was thinking "hey I can do that and probably give them a run" but at the end of the day decided not to. It was entertaining to watch a two cars leave their turbos on the track in pieces.
Then there was the road course and again I really wanted to give the S4 a go but chickened out. Maybe next time.
It was a fun day and great company. Unfortunately there were few Audis in attendance as this event was primarily a Bimmer event. tdenton took plenty of pics which he did share with us. If you asked nicely he may share them on this site?
Those that didn't make it you missed a fun day! Would loved to have gone up against some of those M3s who were spinning at the start, like I said maybe next time.
