TT Instrument Cluster

TT Instrument Cluster
There have been numerous posts regarding failing instruments and that the fix is to replace the entire cluster. Some posts have suggested going to repair shops other than Audi and getting good results. I don't doubt it.
The last time I talked with the dealer about the issue, they said it would be about $1000. I brought it up again, and now they are saying that there is a warranty extension on the issue, they will order a new cluster and install it AT NO CHARGE! Free is a very good price.
Don't take any guff, be the squeaky wheel!
Cheers

Re: TT Instrument Cluster
Very interesting. I wonder how far back in MY they will support. I know several 01 / 02 TT owners that needed cluster repairs for common issues such as erratic Temp and Fuel Gauge readings, etc.

Re: TT Instrument Cluster
From what i have found, this information is a little out-dated.
Instrument Cluster Failure — Audi TT Car Club - www.audittcca.com
Extension for my 01 TT is long passed.

Re: TT Instrument Cluster
I just got the new cluster in my TT. The Dealership was terrific, no charge, 5 year old car. It's all working like new now. Say what you will about dealerships, but Open Road Audi in Vancouver treats me very well.
