I think it is related to speed. I drive at the speed limit + 48km/hr so I do not end up with my Drivers Licence suspended. I also pass everything moving.
In the States and BC we go faster. I had my boom days when Montana Legislature passed the law about No Speed Limit and it only had to be reasonable. Could not keep me out of there anytime I found a reason to travel. Some small truck drivers were doing 180 which was scary to look at as these vehicles would go from right to left in front of me.
