Poor Customer Service

Poor Customer Service
Hi there,
I brought my 2011 Q5 2.0T in this morning for body work (car ran into the rear of my vehicle) and at the same time I brought up a few points I wanted the service dept. to look into.
1- The two sections of the rear seat backrest rub together when I drive on bumpy terrain and the noise gets quite annoying. I wanted it resolved
(probably just tightening the bolts).
2- The push to start button has its metallic finish peeling off. I wanted it replaced.
For both of these small problems, I was told that they are not covered by Audi Canada warranty because the vehicle is over 20,000km / 1year... So I would have to pay $120.00/hr for labor plus parts if any.
I was completely baffled by that reply... I've never heard of such poor customer service... Is this trully a Audi Canada rule that parts cannot be adjusted, at their cost, if they become a burden to the owner such as loose bolts on a seat?
They would only cover the work if it was for a part that is not working as intended, in other words, if it's half broken but still functions, we don't change cover the work.
So my question to you guys.... Is this truly how Audi Canada handles this or is my dealership hiding behind them not to do the work (it's not us, it's Audi Canada)
Thanks you,
Marco

Re: Poor Customer Service
First I would talk to the Service Manager at the dealership if you get nowhere go the the General Manager of the dealership ,if again you get nowhere contact Audi Canada .I have had geat response through my dealer .A nicely worded email to the G M of the dealership will get you wonders but if not keep fighting till you get what you have paid for and that is fist class service .Also check with an other dealer in your area if it is not to far away .Good Luck
