New Audi/A6 owner - is the Tire Road Hazard plan a good deal?
Picked up the new A6 last night (well, new to us - a demo with 8K on it) - we own cars for a long time and wonder if it's worth it to buy the Road Hazard Plan which is about $1,000 for 5 years (is that negotiable?) - on that subject there is the combined Interior/Windshield and Tire plan for about $1,600 - same question - worth it?
Because we bought a demo we have the CPO extended warranty for almost 6 years - our last car was an Acura which we traded in after 12 years so we do take care of our cars.
Thanks for any suggestions/info.

Re: New Audi/A6 owner - is the Tire Road Hazard plan a good deal?
I just picked up my car last night and personally I went with the 3 year tire and rim warranty for 550ish? For the price of tires and rims, if even one tire gets damaged from a pothole or other hazard in edmonton its worth it to me. I wouldn't bother with the windshield and interior protection. Pick up some conditioners from canadian tire and do the interior yourself, and I haven't seen enough evidence on the windshield gimmick (is it the diamon-fusion thing?) to back it up and make it worth it.
Thanks. We were quoted $792 for 36 months; $917 for 48 and $1028 for 60 - did you negotiate to $550 or was that the offer?

This was from Southgate Audi in Edmoton for a 2011 A4 with the s-line package, so I have the 19" wheel/rim package.

watch out for the tire and rim warranty. i have a friend with an A5 and they wouldn't give her a replacement rim when she hit a pot hole. There was clearly damage to the rim but since it still holds air they didn't give her a new one.
