Yup. There is a huge difference between the two, though. On the A6 I have the ZF 5HP19FLA, which on the A4 I have the ZF 6HP. My A6 has been reprogrammed via Vag-Com to be permanently in "Sport Mode" and to disengage the 200+ pre-set transmission programs. The A4's transmission is bone stock as it's still under warranty. The transmission is probably the crown jewel of the A4. It makes most use out of the 2.0T motor. It's Sport Mode is absolutely fabulous, and having that extra gear makes a huge difference in fuel economy.
I have plenty of plans with the A6 in the near future, just need to get it running perfectly first.
