Lots of great deals for May guys...

Re: Lots of great deals for May guys...
I just read that Audi's May incentives include $9000 cash-back on the A4 2.0T Quattro Premium. Is this true? If so, that's insane! Too bad I'm not ready to buy my Audi for 2-3 more months .

Call your local dealer and ask. Not every dealer offers those incentives equally.

Yeah right. Why would they even have that? it's not like they are having a hard time selling the A4 (or Q5!)

Re: Lots of great deals for May guys...
found them: so this month on the A4:
1500$ dealer incentive if you finance (including their special rate)
3000$ if pay cash
750$ if lease
On the Q5, it's 2000$ if you pay cash. 1500$ if finance, 750$ if lease.

Re: Lots of great deals for May guys...
Since I worked for a dealer from many years, let me explain how it works. Please notice the first statement "equally".
1. Incentives that are made public, the dealer must follow
2. Incentives that are direct to dealer are NEVER PUBLIC!
There are incentives that are given to the dealer to move vehicles and they are "supposed" to be given to customers that are interested in a new purchase. That's called moving product!
Given the experience in domestic, asian and euro, those incentives are NEVER shared with the public. That's why in North America, we call it "dealing"
That's where the "room" is when trying to purchase a vehicle. Dealer incentives will come in many forms.
A. Vehicles stored on the lot "before" a due date (Credit)
B. Vehicles stored on the lot "after" a due date (Credit)
C. Vehicles purchased for normal inventory (Credit)
D. Vehicles purchased for normal inventory with non moving or hard to sell models (Credit)
E. When vehicles are store for a period of time, the corporations will offer special incentives to get them off the lot for the new inventory
F. It's the new model inventory that has fewer incentives on the first round
H. It's the older models that more incentives on the last round
I. It's all about moving inventory
Look at it this way, If I'm incorrect, then every identical A4 sold across Canada would have been sold at the same price. We all know that's not true!
Sales - Correct?

Re: Lots of great deals for May guys...
Actually, for those interested, the site I got the info from is carquotes.ca They claim to have the month's incentives for pretty much any Canadian dealer, and its freely viewable.
I think I misread the info (my apologies!). It says a $1500 cash incentive for the A4 2.0T Quattro Sedan Premium, and $9000 cash incentive for the A4 2.0T Quattro Sedan Special Edition. I don't know why I thought it applied to the Premium, when it clearly doesn't say that. Maybe I read what I wanted to read?
Hopefully it is mart242 that is right, and the cash incentive is actually double that, at $3000.
Not sure what the "Special Edition" is, or how accurate this site is, but incentives should be the same across the country if they are passed down from manufacturer to dealer (and hopefully) to customer.

It might have been refered to a U.S. model because I have seen it on Costco.com, under SERVICE, in the US Costco offer car purchase pricing. The model you are refering is available there as a Cabriolet.
I wish we had Costco car service available here in Canada.
Also, it appears that many dealers are not aware of the SPP program ( Audi Supplier Purchase Program) which is available to many companies. I am working for one of them an after visiting 3 dealership none mentionned the program fully knowing that I am working for that compagny. Where they aware of it ? The sale director appears not to be.
This to be follow on a futur topic.
