VW of America informs us that some 2000 TT models requires changing the seat back for tether anchorage modifications. Importer should verify with VW of America
before bringing vehicle to Canada. The modifications may be expensive.

I read a lot on the site. It seems that Audi will honour the warranty if i buy it in the US. Beside the taxes, is Audi making it hard to bring the car into Canada. ie. recall letter etc etc like BMW does ? WHat about modification to the car ? ANything major ? I don't ant to bring the car in and find out i have no warrranty and i need to spend 10K to bring it to Canadian standard.
