I target every 5K, but usually it's in the 5-8K range with synthetic. For those in the GTA that don't do it themselves, CAA has got a great mobile lube service. They come to your door, work or home and are done in about 30min. There's a discount for CAA members but the service is available to everyone. Check their website. (only downside is that there is some oil spillage on the lower engine cover when the change the filter, so far I have not found anyone other than Audi service that prevents this from happening.)

Greg.
