emission control system warning light
hi I have a A4 TDI 2L 2007 model. The Emission control system light came on... the one that looks like an engine, its yellow in color. One the top left of the dash board.
Should i be worried?

Mine has been on for a while. You need someone to pull the code for you to know exactly what it is though. Any OBD2 reader wil do it and lots of guys have those. I you know someone with a VAG-Com that will tell you exactly what is wrong.
Mine is on because it is running lean at idle which usually means a vac leak somewhere but I can't find it. The emission light isn't usually something serious but could cause longterm problems (poor mileage etc...)
