DRL's on U.S. Car with the Override Switch
Hi everyone,
Brought in an '06 S4 Avant from the U.S. It has the daytime running light switch where you can turn them on or off... Does Canadian Tire care if you just leave this switch ON or do I have to override the switch so that no matter what they are always on (even if the switch is off)? If this is the case can it just be overridden with a Vag Com or do I need to physically bypass the switch?
Thanks!
P.S. Luv the S4!! so

Re: DRL's on U.S. Car with the Override Switch
Some places dont care, but the US DRL's I think only turn on the fogs and not your sidemarkers and licence plate marker, which is a requirement. The switch can be easily bypassed and anyone that I helped out I only override the US settings to Canada, and I am in Calgary with a Vag-Com if you wanna meet up, I can help you out.
