BTW, those MOTON are awesome, but super expensive. Fully adjustable too! Would love to have some of that real high end equipment on my car but as I'm not racing it, would just be overkill and my pockets are now empty after dropping some major coin on this thing during 2010. Ask some reputable tuners/garages that do that work for a recommendation, based upon your driving style, roads and usage. are you going to track car or just go to and from work, etc?

Does anyone know what type of wear and tear lowering the car would do? I was just thinking of buying these. Audi Eibach Spring Pro-Kits - 2001-2008 Audi A4 Sedan Quattro (4 cylinder engine) - Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs

I recently had a problem with my steering box where the bolt holding the steering column in the box was loose. The fix at the dealership was only $120 however the dealership did say that because my car was lowered (even though it was done at Pfaff Dealership Shop) there would be no warranty and thet lowering may cause stress on the steering system.

I personally think they are full of SH#T but they will use any excuse in the book not to warranty anything. As for the stress on the system I would say that there are plenty of people with lowered cars that never have a problem.

Thanks for the reply...I just had a look at my suspension actually and it looks like the front is higher about half a inch or more. If I were to buy springs and drop it 1.4 inch's would it look the same? because I don't like that look.

Looks nice! I'll take a picture of problem tomorrow when theres more light. I don't even know if it's worth putting money into a little 1.8t. I want it to look nice but also perform just as good and with 217 000kms on it I donno haha.

There is a lot of room between the tire and fender. Lowering it will make it look so much better and handle better as well.

So when I lower it I have to get the caster and camber changed or my camber will weaken more quickly? This is what I've been reading. I hear having a little more camber is better.

Hmm so your saying that a Bilstein shock & h&r spring combo is not good??

I though that's the best combo for a cupkit??
