Not sure what this is, but when I first start my car and drive off, my brake pedal makes this weird noise, as if it pushes itself down or something? It only happens when I first drive off, and then it never comes back. Happens every single time... is it my ABS?

I know my rear right rotor is warped as well, but I'm changing both my rear rotors and pads this week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Since no one has answered you yet I will take a stab at this. There have been times when my car has sat for a period of time and when I first start off the brakes seem to break loose as if they were stuck. It is almost as if rust has started and the brakes take the first stopping to clear themselves. Does this sound familiar? This also happens after I wash the car and the rotors have a thin build up of rust. If this is what is happening to you there is nothing to worry about. On the other hand if its not perhaps it should be checked out.

Yes, that's pretty much what's happening... I know its coming from the rear. So I decided to order some new rotors and pads. I'm hoping this will remedy the problem, especially the grinding.

I also notice when I'm slow coming to a stop, it feels as if the rotors are warped, simply because I feel like it pulls back for a split second over and over again... Correct me if I'm wrong...

Hopefully new pads and rotors will correct the problem. Have you had them checked out by a mechanic yet?

Having the car serviced on Thursday. All my fluids, filters, cam follower, spark plugs, tire rotation, and probably rear brakes and rotors as well. Also gonna install Carbonio intake too and detailing! So hopefully she'll be humming along...

Just out of curiosity, how much labour damage do you think that'll all cost. I was already quoted 100$ for dsg fluid
