Audi A5: a couple questions

Audi A5: a couple questions
I was debating whether to get an Audi A5 from the US but did research on the US vs Canadian prices. They seem similar if you add up the options in the US model to match up the Canadian Premium features. Am I missing something here? I thought US prices are supposed to be a lot cheaper.
Also, would it be better to lease or to buy the car if I don't drive more than 20,000km a year and may possible give the car up in 4 years? This is what I know of cars:
Buying: you can negotiate the price, hence save on wholesale vs MSRP price difference
Leasing: you can't negotiate the price
But if I bought the car and wanted to sell it at the end of the 4 year warranty, would I have a tough time recouping the 43-50% that the car's worth is, because who would want to buy a car without a warranty?
Thanks.

Re: Audi A5: a couple questions
I'm not sure about the pricing differences between the States and Canada for the A5 but I recently leased a 2011 A5 for 3 years (20,000km per year). If you are planning to drive it less than 20k km a year and will dispose of it after 4 years, you should lease the car. Also, if you have the cashflow, try to pay for the lease as a Single lease payment as it will decrease the amount of interest you pay in the long run.
Whether you're leasing or buying a car, you always negotiate the MSRP. After you reach the desired price, you work out the details (i.e. lease, finance or straight out cash). I negotiated and got 6% off MSRP + audi care on a 3 year lease. Wasn't a bad deal at all.
On Kelly Bluebook, they've researched and found that the A5 has one of the highest resale values of it's class.
Hope this helps.

The same negotiated price applies to both lease and finance deals. Basically work out your final price, and that will be your cap cost for the lease.
