Hi all,
I am about to purchase a used Audi A3 2.0TFSI 2008 DSG (S-Tronic).
I took the car to a workshop to check that everything is OK.
Overall, the car is in great shape, 57,000 Kilometers without any signs of wear (rare condition).
Mechanically, everything went ok besides one problem.
When standing still and then pressing the gas, there is a jerking problem, or some sort of dragging. I was reading alot about this issue in other AUDI forums but never reached to any conclusion. I want to purchase the car and was told to go to the nearest Audi manufacturer shop to check this issue.
There is no warranty on the car since its from 2008.

Can you please share light on this issue? Have you ever heard about this issue?
How can it be fixed?

That sounds a little like my car before it failed but very hard to know if it is the same thing you are describing. And it was almost 4 years ago so my memory is not clear on that.

In my case it eventually stopped working with a blinking error message on the dash, couldn't move anymore and they replaced a computer board on the tranny.

If you could hook up to a computer at the dealer, they might be able to detect that.
