Another Audi Care and service question

Another Audi Care and service question
I'm sure its been discussed before, but I searched and can't find a direct answer.
I'm picking up a new car in the next few days, thinking about AudiCare. There's not much info about Audi Care other than if covers certain scheduled services.
What I want to know relates to the A4 service schedule - does the A4 really have a km and time limit for regular services? I've been told by other companies that time doesn't really matter (ie if you have only driven 1,000km in 3 months, you shouldn't get an oil change - notwithstanding the dealers try to sell you.
If I drive low km, and am at my 4th year, but am nowhere near the 70k service, will I just lose out (ie AudiCare isn't worth it)? OR is the service such that I HAVE to get regular maintenance on the time schedule provided (and therefore, if I am keeping the car for 4 years, AudiCare is a good deal)?
Thanks!

Re: Another Audi Care and service question
I have always had Audi Care with both A4's and my TT. I would definitely do it again. And
I only drive about 10,000km per year. It is important to get the service done at time intervals, if you don't reach the distance milestones. My TT has already had its 80,000km service, even though there is only 58,000 on the clock.

Re: Another Audi Care and service question
All cars have recommend service schedules. Audi Care covers that service schedule basically to match the duration of the warranty period of the car, which is the first four service intervals. (First oil change at 8000 km is always free and therefore isn't shown on the Audi Care schedule.)
Audi Canada > Your Audi > Audi Care
If you want to know exactly what is done at each service interval, you can download the schedules here:
Audi Canada > Your Audi > Owners > Maintenance Schedule
Typically the mileage interval is equivalent to one year. The A4 has a service reminder that counts down to the mileage of the next interval or one year, whichever happens sooner. Your dealer should also be keeping tabs on the time and should be reminding you yearly of the need for service. You won't "lose out" if the scheduled time of the service interval happens before the mileage. It's regular maintenance and it's good for your car.
Keep in mind you don't have to buy Audi Care at the same time as the car. You have up to one year from the purchase date of your car within 20000km to buy Audi Care. You can always use the first year to gauge your mileage and decide if it's worth it or not to you. All in all the cost of the four service intervals greatly outweighs the $750 cost of Audi Care.
