*just* missed end of my Audi Care.... good will available?

Default *just* missed end of my Audi Care.... good will available?

Hi, new to the forum here. Have an '09 R8 6 speed.

For a combination of reasons, I missed my regular service in July of this year. Unbeknownst to me, my Audi Care warranty expired on October 31st. I called to make an appointment 7 days later. They told me my Audi Care had already expired, but I was eligible for service as early as July and it would've been free. Now I have to pay for my own service.

I was out of the country for work... and my car was not being driven.

Anyway, I tried to get the dealer to talk to Audi Canada about extending some good will to me to still cover the service under Audi Care, but the dealer told me they declined.

Has anyone here experienced this before and gotten some help from Audi?

Does anyone have any suggestions on whom I can talk to at Audi Canada? Please pm me if you have a contact.

I'm a long time Audi owner and a big Audi enthusiast. Really hating myself that I basically missed my warranty expiration by 7 days and now it will cost me to the tune of 900 bucks that I did not budget for right around the holiday season. Brutal.

I had the same experience. Thought my care package/certified warranty expired end of last April. Went in to get service 2 weeks before the end of the month and was told my plan expired a couple of days ago, you Have to pay if you want anything done. They wouldn't even try to talk to Head Office.

For what it's worth, I ended up speaking to Audi Canada myself. After explaining everything, they still said no. They are real sticklers about this. I was pretty disappointed. Paid for it out of pocket. Sorry to hear you had the same experience.
