Not a problem to openly recommend a detailer here on the forum.

Thanks man! A good wash/wax takes a while but is definitely worth it...

I find the most time consuming area is the clay bar for sure..

I just picked up a new A4 and I was going to have the front done with 3m paint protection film. Should I hold off and have the car detailed by a good shop beforehand to make sure the paint is top notch before it gets covered? I don't notice much wrong with it now, but in certain light I can make out faint swirls/scratches. Very minor though.

I used to work at a body shop and heres a trick I know of. If you have scuff marks on the inside of your doors on the plastic pieces from people rubbing there shoes and what not that won't go away you can use paint thinner to rub them off. Just apply a little bit to a cloth and rub it out, but do not I repeat DO NOT attempt it on leather! haha

Is there a particular product the you recommend that give a really great shine. On e-shine.ca I have been looking at products...ChenicalGuys, Griots Garage, Poorboys,Sonax etc...what to choose?
I want easy on/off with a great shine
One product I purchased last year at the Montreal auto show was 24 Karats...shampoo was, polish and a bottle of vynyl/leather restorer/cleaner. Its the best I have tried so far.
Again, I enjoyed reading your post.
