Aww..that sucks. I only dealt with him once, but he was a cool guy! It was fun chatting with him.

I was looking at her...I was like what the **** sense does that make????
What the hell? Sadly, I think I know which salesperson you're talking about, if this was recent. Luckily I didn't have her.

It was september and she is still there.

Actually now that I remember....heres the first story that started us off poorly....

I went there looking for an A4, wanted to go for a test drive. They had a REALLY nice one there. He refused to pull the car out for me though. Said he cant pull it out for another couple days. I was like but I want to test drive this one...he said to come back in a couple days and he'll pull it out. He basically saw a 20 year old and said "**** him im not wasting my time"
The next day I called missisauga and asked them to have a car ready that I found on their inventory. Took it for a drive and it was parked in front ready for me. And I fell in love with audi. THEN I went back to pfaff and they slapped me in the face like that.

OWASCO SALES: I do not know anything about them

OWASCO PARTS: Neil Brands nice person and knowledgeble

OWASCO SERVICE: there is proof, in my mind, that they are neither competent nor honest... and I have the bills to prove it to the tune of about $6,000 in one year

And this is my experience with them.

I guess getting bent over like that would really give you a certain perception. I'll be taking my TT to the Barrie dealership, I've had lots of experience with them from servicing my previous Jetta, and they seem to be competent enough.

And on the topic of bad places to take your car...

DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAR TO AUDI DOWNTOWN!!! They are butchers!
Because of them, I have some "issue" with my speed sensor in the front driver's side. So now my ABS is constantly engaging. And when I had originally brought it back there when the ABS started acting up, they couldn't figure it out...made me buy a $1,000 new ABS module for no f**king reason!!!!

They are over priced and are really a pathetic excuse for customer service and technicians.

I agree.
From personal experience, I know that the mechanics at the dealer don't really care about your car. They just wanna get the hell outta there at 5pm.
The small independent shops seem to be more honest, attentive and respectful.
I take my car to Independent Tuning in Scarorough and H2 Sport in Georgetown.
Both are super awesome! Both are honest and both are great tuners.
By the way.....Audi of Uptown Markham sucks too. They changed my valve cover gasket and it was leaking again within a week. I don't think they actually replaced it. I think they just cleaned up the area. That was 500 bucks I would have spent on other mods.
My 2 cents.

I definitely agree.
I bring my car to a shop called Metro Garage which is in the west end of Toronto (Weston Road and St. Clair area) which is owned by my friend and his father. His father has been working on German cars for ages! They actually did the K04 conversion on my boyfriend's B5 S4 with no complaints!

Oh and another thing to mention about damn Audi Downtown is that a little while ago I hit their service van with my Trailblazer. The service van was some new Nissan thing. As a CUSTOMER of theirs, do you know how much they charged me to fix it since it was such an emergency?? $960! There was no damage on my SUV and it was just the front quarter panel. They insisted that it needed to be totally replaced and fast...that was 2 months ago, ask me if they've fixed it. NO! But they sure as hell cashed my cheque the day after I gave it to them.
And the best part was the accident was caused by the fact that their dumb *** service driver cut me off, I honked at him and then the next time I went to change lanes he sped up...didn't even brake at all as I was changing into his lane.

Those people don't give a damn about their customers...which is probably why they charge $115/hour for labour and you get your car back in even worse conditin that it originally was.

Oh and my S4 is automatic, I asked them if I should do a transmission flush and they said no, it was lifetime and that only a person who didn't know what they were doing would do a flush...um, is that why all the parts are replaceable? Because they're not supposed to be replaced? So I asked if the transmission itself had a lifetime warranty, lol...

IDIOTS! I think we should start a thread about Audi repair places that we should steer clear of.
