Hey Guys,

I'm a new B7 owner from Waterloo. / bought it from Vancouver and will be arriving in Toronto within the next 2 weeks...can't wait!!

I've lived in Ontario for 3 years now and have been driving an Infiniti. I've rustproofed it every year...black stuff on the bottom, oil in the doors / trunk. No rust...

I've called Audi dealers and they've scared the pants off of me and told me not to rustproof and that the warranty will cover it. Yet I read posts that drivers get screwed when trying to claim rustproof warranty and that some audis are getting rust bubbles...

So being from Ontario...should I be rustproofing? Thanks!! (no drilling involved)

Audi has a 12 year paint/rust proof warranty, but however the bottom of your car is a different story i would think, its a tough one to figure out where the boarder line is. Welcome to the site and congrats on the purchase!

welcome. Im located in waterloo as well. theres a few of us out this way. It seems like there is enough of us now that we should start up our own meet instead of meeting up with the VW guys.
