You can run the JHM tune with anything. It's just a matter of getting even more out of the tune if you happen to have 2.5" catback and either Piggies or 2.5" catless downpipes. You should be fine with your current setup though as arts4 mentioned.

Are you asking the original poster? Not sure if he ended up getting the JHM tune since he hasn't posted recently. I can vouch that the JHM tune is the best one out there by far for the v8 S4 though.

Axel, you said JHM is better than Unitronic cause they change more settings, I've bought a used 2008 TT Roadster and I did the Stage 1 from Unitronic 2 weeks ago, I'm still on 30 days satisfaction and I can change my mind.

My questions is, do you thing I will have more "feeling" with JHM even if I'm leaving the rest of the car stock than now (with Unitronic) ??

I did the upgrade because of the lag of the throttle first, you will understand I didn't tell no for the rest of the upgrade LOL.

I did made the modification of throttle on my Kia Koup but I don't want to touch this baby.

Not trying to hijack here but a question along the lines of the OP.

On an 03 RS6 - what's the best option for power upgrade? APR ECU? JHM? Vehicle is otherwise stock.

most of the tunes for the rs6 will make good power via boost. i would go with someone safe..rather than someone who will push and push timing or something to squeeze more out considering the lions share will be accomplished with boost request.

someone like apr..but ask on other forums too.
