lol! nice! sorry didn't come out tonight. trying to get this blackberry sorted. ya his car really is sick. love the color and the interior with the suede is sick!
thanks for the dyno info mike! we should contact them and see if they will do an audi night for us and we can get some kind of discount perhaps if we have enough interest and order up some pizzas or something.

Re: Low Down on my 05 S4
Thanks Jonny thanks to you guys for having me tonight and to Mike for helping me out with the Spark Plug change. I hope the DIY comes in handy! Good times, good food, good company.

As some of you may or may not know, I managed to find the previous owner of my car through a youtube video I ran across.
So I met up with him tonight in Mississauga and this is what I found out.
Mods.
GIAC tune
H&R Coilovers.
H&R front and rear sways
19" in moda rims.
Full AWE tuning exhaust with the downpipes.
Evolution peformance CAI ( even thought it's not really a CAI) haha
Also all work on the car is up to date all done by Audi and a new clutch and flywheel were installed just a few K ago as he was thinking of keeping the car.
I called about the recalls, all recalls are done as well nothing outstanding.
He also gave me all the documentation, pics, and original emails (printed out) when he was in discussion with the sales man.
He payed $74,612 + gst/pst on October 5th 2004. At the time the car came with every option and the premium package was payed for.
The car was dynoed tested by Audi and did 347HP to the wheels. (Once I finds the print out he will get it to me)
With all the mods, on the low side the car should be doing 420 HP to the wheels and on the high side 450.
It was a pretty interesting night.
I also received all the extra keys and the valet keys.

car makes about 360 crank in this format. That's around 280 on most UNCORRECTED dynos...just for reference.
Audi doesn't have a dyno...or a wheel anything. They use a torque calculation in their version of VAGCOM...and it calculates an HP amount at the crank. It's also useless, so ignore it.
Bottom line? Test your car's acceleration to see how powerful it is. Race other cars both stock and modded to see where you stand. With a tune+downpipes+catback you should be able to beat most stock or mildly modded S4s. I guess we'll find out as there are about 5 of us with 4.2 S4s in the group.
p.s. the original pricing on these cars always blows me away. Makes the new B8 look like a bargain and a half. The mods alone on your car cost the original purchaser about $6,000+labour.
