East GTA Meets

Re: East GTA Meets
Cool. I had an '86 Fiero SE with the v6. Great car but they always seemed to die around 140,000km. Use to be a shop in TO. Zolt was the name of the guy who ran it. A guru with the Fiero. Many engine swaps went through his shop in the early 90's. Think it was called RMS?

Yeah yeah. RSM I believe, and they did Cavalier stuff as well. I went there once a while ago to get some quotes on getting a bottle installed on my Z24 a long time ago but never went through with it. I heard a lot of bad things about that place.
There was another shop called Race Tech as well. Long gone as well. That's where I got my car actually.
I got the engine swap done by a guy named Dan out in Belleville area. He did a nice clean install, just never really got the bugs worked out of the engine though. Should have known better than to buy a junk yard motor and not do a complete overhaul. But I figured american motors are dead solid especially the L67. Oh well, live and learn. Only thing really left to do on it is the bottom end now any way. Cars....
