NIQUET AUDI: Avoid them like the plague! They sold me car with bald tires, fail to see that my whole engine needed to be replaced!

Hey Deanna. I have recently moved to the GTA and own an S4 myself. I had a similar experience a yours a few years ago (I lived in the gta then as well) with the Audi dealership in Oakville. As far as my S4 goes in toronto, I have been to H2 sport in Georgetown for and ECU chip upgrade, and had no problems. They were friendly, the prices were not outrageous and overall it was a good experience. As far as dealerships go, I took it into Audi queensway once for service and had one younger tech, who himself is involved in tuning his own S4 twin turbo. Nice guy, knows his stuff and did me more than a few favours. I still keep in touch with him and check in on his projects online regularily. I will check with him before giving you his particulars, but as soon as I do I will get back to you. Hope this is of some assistance...like I said not much experience with my S4 in the GTA yet, so any you may have would be appreciated!

^ Yeah that's what I heard too - the work is good but it's prettyoverpriced.
Even Downtown Audi (the butchers of Audis in the GTA) charge $115/hour for labour.

I would understand if they had some top notch mechanics working there, but clearly they have monkeys with wrenches in there!

OWASCO MUST be on this list... I have written extensively about them in the past: take a good car into them and they will make sure to shake you down like a ripenned tree!

Now that you mention it, I have heard a BUNCH of crummy things about OWASCO.

I have my own mechanic but deal with Queensway Audi at Islington & the Queensway in Etobicoke for more complicated stuff. I heard from other people not to trust Queensway, but really, I've always had a good experience with them. My biggest disappointment is one of the old guys that retired 2-3yrs ago. I brought the car in there more than once with stalling problems - the car would stall when I was coming to a stop randomly and the only tell tale sign was that the traction control light would come on. Leave the car for 10secs. and it would start right up on go on its way. The only one in the shop that could solve the problem was the old guy, (and he didn't even have to look at the car!) - clean the throttle body - no stalling ever since, >2yrs ago. I miss that old german guy...But I digress.

So far good honest work, on-time and good follow-up from the team there. They rarely do anything for free but they do what they say they are going to do and no surprises. They take the time to walk me through everything they've done and answer all the questions I have. They are pricey, but its an Audi. They are firm but I have been able to negotiate down the cost of a few repairs.

Not a glowing recommendation but I honestly have been happy to use them.

Greg.

So I called Eurospeed two days ago to get a quote on the 25k service for the A3 - essentially a Oil Change & Cabin Filter Replacement.

The lady asked for my name and number and said they'd call back. 36 hours later, 1.5 days, she calls back quoting $150 + tax. Ok price but 1.5 days for a simple quote... ya gotta be kiddin' me!!

Ended up at Rocket Auto in Etobicoke - dude's name is Dragan, super fast and friendly and better pricing than Eurospeed by a few bucks. His shop is just off the Queensway east of Sherway Gardens and west of the Ikea.
