I am looking at purchasing a 2000 or 2003 Quattro 225. Both are high mileage and will be my daily driver. I drive a 2008 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster on sunny summer days.
I wanted black or white but could only find white or blue in my price range. Both are coupes and 6 speeds. The difficulty I am having is the 2000 has a full body kit, 18" wheels, Borla exhaust, down pipe and is chipped. The 2003 is completely stock and I don't care for the blue but it is in excellent condition. There is almost $2000.00 difference between the two and the little bit of TLC the white 2000 Coupe needs will cost under $1000.00. So is the newer one worth the extra price or do I go for looks, the color I want and take my chances with the 2000. I understand the body kit alone is worth 3000.00, the Borla over 600.00 and the wheels and tires around 1000.00 or more. Any advice?
