Re: Recommendation for the Trim
I found this on the Detailing Bliss forum ... lots of suggestions for products to use. Still looking for a real definite answer though.

Im no pro, but I see, pple complaining about water marks.. What are U guys using to dry your car?.. I use a damp microfibre shammy, to suck up all the water.. Squeeze all the water out and repeat till dry.. No water marks on paint, or on windows.. Cheers..

Re: Recommendation for the Trim
I asked AutoObessed about the trim and here is what they recommended:
"That is a good question, the parts you describe almost certain will have a clear coating on them so any abrasive metal polish will damage the finish. Depending on the condition of these parts you could use a quick detailer to remove the water spots and make it shine brighter, for heavier damage then a mild paint polish, and you could use P21s Metal Polish in the extreme case as it is also designed for plastic and paint correction. Only caution don't rub too hard as you could damage the clear coat and the polish will stain the black rubber parts so keep it away from them."
