Hey I just bought a 2000 S4 and was wondering if people can reply with some helpful tips on how to maintain a car such as this one. Thanks.

congrats on the new purchase the b5 s4 is an awesome car.... how many km are on the car??? for a 2000 you should be around 100-120km around there your gonna need to change the belts and spark plugs....$1200 besides that regular oil changes and cool the turbos..about 2min after pushing the living **** out of it...post a pic if you have one

Ya, like jface said, the whole front of the motor at around that mileage...belts, tensioners, water pump, idler pulleys and so on. Check out purems or ecs and so on. Most of them have entire kits that you can get to refresh your baby. Get the most extensive kit you can....do it once. You don't want to keep going back in there to change one thing at a time.

As far as other maintenance goes, just keep up to date with it...if something needs to be done, do it. If you let things pile up on you, you'll be crying when it comes time to dish out for the repair$.
