Just ordered 2011 S4 with black and black Silk Napa, just like my 04. Not sure how the Alacantra will hold up over the years, but also prefer the black/black effect. Also, the Silk Napa seats are completely different construction than the stock seats that come with it. My $.02.

all black for me, or nothing...the red/black look neat but are a bit blingy. Almost like a chocolate bar...eating one once in a while is nice, but not everyday. Black and Brown are just ill-matched I think.
Finally, the suede is a non-starter for me...it just grips you in there, but reality is that most of the time you don't need snug...so you're just going to rue the worn look of the suede after a while...and the suede will pull the shirt out of the back of your pants when you slide in and out of the car if you're over 5'10".
So, all around? All black silk nappa leather.

I quite like the mustang brown, I think the brown/black combo does complement the vehicle very well. All in good taste.
Look around you, Brown is on the rebound in all facets of contemporary culture, not meaning it's just a fad. But it is not well represented on the Build Your S4 feature @ audi.ca, so don't go by that, you MUST see it in real life or through a very good camera lens at the least. Black on black is truly classic, but rather plain for me.
Make sure you lay your eyes on whatever option you are seriously considering before you go with it. Otherwise, you may regret it.

I have a 2010 S4, Silver with the black on red interior. I was worried at first before the car arrived I would hate it, but love it. A little flashy, but a nice touch

alcantara is actually a brand name of a fabric, and that fabric is fake suede. There are a few other fake suede fabrics out there. Alcantara is like 'Kleenex'. It's not a thing...it's a brand name that makes a thing.
