Default Feeling hesitating in 4-6th gears

My B5 S4 is giving me a slight catching under heavy throttle in the higher gears, I'm thinking about changing the manual transmission fluid and the rear dif. fluid. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be? I've got 186K on her and the 1-3rd gears feel tight and responsive. Could use any advise available....

Well it will depend on the RPMS, in 4th and 5th, under low RPMS and no mods, you wont be gaining speed too much!

This is relativly new, I've had the car for 7 years now, and it's noticable on highway acceleration. I've bought gear lube, 75W90 and am going to replace the fluids in the Tranny and rear dif.
