I am looking for a new clutch for my S4 because ..... well .... i had to let the girlfriend use the car for the day and found that it is now slipping like a mother.

I went on ebay and found this clutch

I was wondering if ANYONE has heard ANYTHING about this clutch. I am also looking for advise about what clutch i should also consider??? AWE RS4 maybe??

Oh and if you have put a new clutch in, how many hours did it take you or the dealer to put it in?

My son just installed a new clutch in his 2000 S4. He would be the right person to ask for type, cost and labour involved. I know he did get a deal on labour but should be able to tell you what was involved. His name is Jonny and his e-mail address is jonnymaljar@yahoo.com

VAST stage 2 or 3, both are very driveable and capable of holding 600+ CHP, contact me if you need more info

i put a stage 3 f1 racing clutch and fidenza flywheel in my 300 wheel HP civic and had no problem with it at all i loved it but i have no experiance with it on my audi

I am considering the VAST Stage 3. I get the feeling those guys know what they are doing. Let me know what you decide, as will I.

Well i think i am going to go with a SPEC stage 2 clutch. I am going to be paying $1100 for the clutch and flywheel. The labour is going to be about $1300 at an audi dealership.

Does this sound right??? Twenty four hundy for clutch, flywheel and labour??

Sounds a bit steep. Labour can be reduced if you go somewhere else like H2 Motorsport etc.
