Experience with extended warranty?
Hi all,
I'm contemplating purchasing an '07 S4 Avant with ~60,000Km but it's not a CPO unit. I'm looking into purchasing a 3rd party extended warranty for it (it's currently still under factory warranty) and I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this and can provide any advice (coverage/with whom/how much?).
I talked to one Audi dealer in Calgary who quoted me ~$5,000
which struck me as ridiculously expensive. Is that the going rate for 2 years and 40,000Km beyond the factory warranty?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
