Default Driving lights question

When I drive around during the day and notice other AUDIs on the road I notice that they have the fog lights on along with their day time driving lights. My S4 only had the day time driving lights on and not the fogs. The fogs only come on when I sellect them by pulling out the light switch in the proper mode.

Does anyone have any answers as to why my car would be different. I would very much like to have the fogs on during the day with the day running lights as I think it looks great and distinguishable.

Thanks

Is your car from the US? If it isnt then Maybe the last owner re-coded it so they are off. Check with someone that has a vag-com in your area and code them properly.

Car is Canadian. I knew the previous owner and I am sure he didn't have it reprogrammed. I am going in soon for a service do you think the dealership should be told and would they program it back to how it should be?

Does anyone have a VAG-COM in the Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton area and can be bribed with a beer?

B6 & B7 models use different factory DRL patterns. B6 uses foglights as the DRL (definitely for the A4; probably the same for the S4). B7 uses the inner lighting pair; think all B7 S4's come with Xenon lights so the inner pair is a halogen bulb (21W) in reduced wattage mode for DRL with a city light (5W) when the parking or main beams is on.

did this get resolved? Anyone needs any VAGCOM help in Mississauga/Oakville/Burlington, swing by my house and I'll fix you up. Will accept gas in exchange (4.2 after all)

Will a VAGCOM (terrible name, btw) be able to reprogram my '07 RS4 to ignore a tire pressure alert?

My winter rims don't have the sensors, so every 15 minutes all winter I get an annoying dashboard warning...

Check out the "Golden Horseshoe" thread. SAKIMANO indicated that he will try and make the next one and hopefully we can convince him to bring his VAGCOM. He said that he can be bribed....ha ha ha
